Food For Thought Catering is the premier children's school lunch catering company in the Bay Area.
We are the recognized industry leaders by creating new means of lunch distribution, better software
that is constantly being updated, usage of 100% recyclable packaging, and usage of tamper
evident packaging. Our temperature control systems at each school insure the highest quality,
safest meals for your children. We are the innovators of these new systems and while the competition
scrambles to reach our standards, we are constantly seeking new, ecologically safe, innovative means
of making your children's lunch experience the best it can be.
We never use processed foods, chemicals, preservatives, or trans fats in any of our meals.
We prepare our meals the old fashioned way, the way your mothers made them, from scratch.
Even our salad dressings, sauces, breads and soups are made from scratch. We only use organic
romaine lettuce in our salads and boneless skinless hormone free chicken breasts in our lunches.
Also, we work with allergy problems to insure children and parents are able to use our service.
We never serve peanut products, peanut oils, tree nuts or anything resembling nuts,
let alone have them on our premises.
Food for Thinking Kids Catering is solely owned by Michael and Denise Lewis, and we both are active
in the business on a daily basis. School and parent concerns are handled directly by us,
not a manager or staff member, to ensure that the best quality service is offered on a
daily basis. No concern is too small, as we feel that all input is constructive and beneficial
to maintain and improve customer relations and satisfaction.
